1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Meribooking, we strive to provide reliable and timely car rental services. This policy outlines the terms related to cancellations and refunds.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Bookings must be cancelled at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled reporting time.
- Cancellations made within 4 hours of reporting time or after vehicle dispatch will incur:
- Minimum booking charges, OR
- Actual running cost of the vehicle (whichever is higher)
2. No-Show Policy
- If the customer does not utilize the service without prior cancellation: Full minimum package charges will apply.
3. Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds (if any) will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used.
- No refunds are applicable for:
- Last-minute cancellations (within 4 hours)
- No-shows
- Services already rendered
4. Modification of Booking
- Changes to bookings are subject to availability.
- Additional charges may apply depending on changes.
2. Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of Meribooking services.
1. Service Agreement
- Meribooking provides vehicle rental services on a principal-to-principal basis.
- No partnership, agency, or employment relationship is created.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- Bookings must be made with a minimum notice of 3 hours.
- Confirmation is subject to vehicle availability.
3. Pricing & Payments
- Prices include driver, fuel, and maintenance unless stated otherwise.
- Additional charges:
- Toll, parking, interstate taxes (actuals)
- GST (as applicable)
- Payments must be made as per agreed timelines.
- Delayed payments may attract 12% annual interest.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking details.
- Ensure timely communication for changes/cancellations.
- Follow all applicable laws during service usage.
5. Liability
- Meribooking is not liable for:
- Loss of profits
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Liability is limited to the service value.
6. Force Majeure
- Services may be affected due to events beyond control (natural disasters, strikes, etc.).
- No liability in such cases.
7. Termination
- Services may be terminated:
- With prior notice
- Immediately in case of breach
8. Governing Law
- Governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes subject to arbitration in Indore.
3. Dispatch & Service Policy
1. Vehicle Dispatch
- Vehicles are dispatched to ensure arrival at least 10 minutes before reporting time.
- Driver and vehicle details are shared at least 2 hours prior.
2. Vehicle Standards
- All vehicles:
- Are in good mechanical condition
- Carry valid documents (RC, Insurance, PUC)
- Are regularly serviced
3. Chauffeur Standards
- Drivers:
- Are verified
- Have local route knowledge
- Communicate in local language
4. Service Conditions
- Service timing and billing are calculated garage to garage.
- Customers must verify and sign duty slips after service.

Meribooking values your privacy and ensures protection of your personal data.

2. Usage of Information
- To process bookings

3. Data Sharing
- Data is not sold to third parties.

- Drivers/operators (for service fulfillment)

5. Payment Policy
1. Accepted Payment Methods
- Online payments via payment gateway
- Bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS)
- UPI / Cards / Net Banking
2. Payment Terms
- Full or partial payment may be required at booking.
- Remaining balance (if applicable) must be cleared before or after service as agreed.
3. Failed Transactions
- In case of payment failure:
- Booking will not be confirmed
- Amount (if debited) will be auto-refunded by the payment provider
4. Invoice & Billing
- Invoices are generated post-service.
- Any discrepancies must be reported within 7–15 days.
6. Refund & Dispute Resolution Policy
1. Dispute Reporting
- Billing disputes must be raised within 7 days of invoice.
- After this period, invoices are deemed accepted.
2. Resolution Process
- Disputes will be resolved mutually.
- If unresolved, arbitration will be conducted as per Indian law.
8. Disclaimer
- Service availability is subject to operational conditions.
- Prices may change due to fuel costs, taxes, or regulations.
